Do remember republican presidential hopeful, Bob Dole's, campaign song?  His team changed the words to "Soul Man" to "Dole Man".  Rondor Music International, the song's publisher, was not happy and on this date September 10, 1996 sent a letter to campaign officials to ask the use of the song be discontinued.
