Otsego County officials have set up a meeting for later this month with Chobani and State Department of Transportation officials. This was arranged after complaints by South Edmeston residents of speeding trucks and roadside litter.

Chobani is asking for more water. The Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC) has a hearing scheduled for the afternoon of May 23 in Harrisburg Pennsylvania to take public comments on Chobani's application to withdraw up to 1.3 million gallons of water per day from local aquifers.
