Today, in music history was an incredible day for Shania Twain.  April 16, 1999, Twain became the first woman to receive the Singer/Songwriter of the Year Award, given by the Nashville Songwriters Association International.  The honor was presented at the 32nd Annual Songwriters Achievement Awards in Nashville, Tennessee.

Today, December 28, 1993, Canadian singer, Shania Twain, said 'I do' to music producer Mutt Lange.  The couple separated 14 years later in 2008 after fourteen years of marriage.  Lange is known for his work with Def Leopard, AC/DC, and Foreigner just to name a few...
