Susquehanna SPCA Update on Rescued Dogs From Franklin
Twenty dogs were rescued last week from a Delaware County home and are continuing to recover. According to AllOTSEGO, the dogs were found at a Franklin home and were in terrible condition, with several suffering significant injuries.
Since the Delaware Valley Humane Society didn’t have enough space to take in all the dogs, some are at the Susquehanna SPCA while others are at the Broome County Humane Society. Once medically cleared the dogs will go up for adoption.
The Susquehanna SPCA has featured six of the rescued dogs on their facebook page, giving an update of their conditions. The shelter states on their facebook page that these are "Six beautiful dogs who are trying to understand what happened to them and why. With everything they have been through, they still feel comforted by people. They are apprehensive, yet learning to trust those who rescued them. You can see in their eyes that they are grateful, relieved, and craving love and care."
For now, the SPCA is giving the dogs time to adjust, while learning more about the individual personalities of the animals.
