Susquehanna SPCA Pet Of The Week–‘Handy’
Meet the Susquehanna SPCA “Pet of the Week” – his name is “Handy”. Every Tuesday morning on Classic Hits 103.1fm, Allison Hungerford, licensed Vet Tech at the Susquehanna SPCA, will tell us all about a special dog or cat at the shelter looking for its forever home which has been overlooked by visitors for some reason. Many times, it's because many animals are shy while in the shelter because it can be a stressful situation! Once adopted, many cats and dogs warm right up to their owners.
Handy, a 5-year-old male kitty is searching for his forever home. Handy is a goofy boy who is very aptly named for his love of, you guessed it, handshakes! He very adorably high-fives and gives handshakes to everyone, and is even known to play nibble a hand or two while in the process. Check out the SQSPCA's recent TikTok link to get a glimpse into Handy's personality. Like the true prince that he is, Handy would prefer to be the center of attention in his new home without another cat.
To meet Handy or any of the other adoptable dogs and cats, give the SQSPCA a call at 607-547-8111 to schedule a time to visit for convenience and for more personal attention from staff, although walk-ins are welcome.
