Susquehanna SPCA Pet Of The Week–‘Carla Happy’
Meet the Susquehanna SPCA “Pet of the Week” – her name is “Carla Happy”. Every Tuesday morning on Classic Hits 103.1fm, Allison Hungerford, licensed Vet Tech at the Susquehanna SPCA, will tell us all about a special dog or cat at the shelter looking for its forever home which has been overlooked by visitors for some reason. Many times, it's because many animals are shy while in the shelter because it can be a stressful situation! Once adopted, many cats and dogs warm right up to their owners.
This week we are going to feature Carla Happy, a 7-year-old female Golden Retriever who is ready to find her forever family! Carla spends most of her time living it up in her foster home, but occasionally visits the SQSPCA for a day or two for extra exposure and snuggles from visitors. SQSPCA staff and volunteers just can't believe that this beautiful pup hasn't been scooped up yet! Carla Happy will greet you with her tail wagging as fast as can be with a huge smile on her face - she absolutely adores people and attention! Being a bit of a diva who prefers to have the spotlight on her, Carla would be best suited for single-pet households, but she would LOVE to have kid siblings to play with.
To meet Carla Happy or any of the other adoptable dogs and cats, give the SQSPCA a call at 607-547-8111 to schedule a time to visit for convenience and for more personal attention from staff, although walk-ins are welcome.
