With the change in seasons to spring, it not only means warm weather but an increase in the local cat population.  Kittens are almost coming out of the woodwork to the Susquehanna SPCA in Cooperstown and they need help!

The animal shelter is asking for those who are able, to foster a kitten for a few weeks.  since they receive many young kittens who have lost their mother and need to be bottle fed in order to live and thrive to the age where it can be adopted by a loving caregiver.

If you would like to make a difference in a kitten's life and are interested in fostering one, the Susquehanna SPCA is holding their first ever "Online Kitten Foster Orientation & Info Session" on Saturday, April 20 at 10:00 a.m.  During this orientation, potential fosters can learn everything they need to know about fostering a kitten.  For more information and to register for the seminar, visit sqspca.org/foster.
