SUNY Offers In-State Tuition For Puerto Rico And U.S. Virgin Islands Students
The State University of New York board of trustees has authorities offering in-state tuition rates for students from Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands displaced by Hurricanes Maria and Irma. Normally students must establish residency in the state for at least one year before enrolling in classes at one of the SUNY colleges or universities at the in-state rate. The resolution is in effect for the 2017-2018 school year but may be extended.
