Stamford Mayor Michael Jacobs Dies

Officials say 65-year-old Stamford Mayor Micheal Jacobs died unexpectedly Saturday at Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton.

The lawyer with Jacobs & Jacobs started his third term as Mayor of Stamford in March.

Officials say Jacobs collapsed at the 3rd annual Delaware County Republican Pig Roast and Family Barbecue at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Walton on Saturday.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
