Sen. Jim Seward and Others to be Sworn In on New Years Day

A couple of swearing in ceremonies are scheduled for this Thursday at the Otsego County Courthouse in Cooperstown.

State Senator James Seward will be sworn into office for his 15^th senate term at 1 p.m. January 1^st. Otsego County Sheriff Richard Devlin will also be sworn in for a new term. Otsego County Representative Rick Hulse Jr., who represents the Town of Otsego, will serve as master of ceremonies. Supreme Court Justice Michael Coccoma(kah-coma) and Otsego County Judge Brian Burns will administer the oath of office.
