Rural Health Network Receives Grant Fighting Opiod Abuse
An area agency working on fighting opioid abuse is receiving a state grant for programs increasing economic opportunity for New York State residents. Governor Cuomo’s office announced that Rural Health Network will be sharing in the $6.9 million awarded to a total of 21 local and regional agencies with grant amounts ranging $42,000 to more than $1 million.
In a statement Governor Cuomo said with this funding New York provides assistance to various agencies to invest in communities making them a safer and healthier place to live and thrive.
