Popular Main Street Oneonta Restaurant to Close!

The Red Caboose Restaurant on Main Street in Oneonta posted their closing on their Face book page.  They were a very classy addition to Main Street and we wish them all well for the future.   Here is their announcement:

~Join us to celebrate 5 years of food, fun & friends~

Caboose Friends: We embarked on this little adventure 5 years ago, with a crazy chef from DC, some big ideas about bringing top notch farm to table food to Oneonta, and a mandate from Mayor Miller to make the best cheeseburger in town. Our biz plan envisioned a "downtown gathering place for Oneontans and our visitors to enjoy the bounty of Central New York's farms and breweries." Thanks to all of you - our regulars, irregulars, family, friends & employees - we were able to make this dream a reality. We're grateful for your patronage, and all the food, drinks, & deep conversations we've shared.

Before we move on to new adventures, let's CELEBRATE!!
