Pharmacist Flu Vaccination Waiver Extended
Governor Andrew Cuomo extended an emergency executive order through March 22 that allows pharmacists across New York state to administer flu vaccines to children ages two to 18. State health officials say last week more than 18,250 laboratory-confirmed cases of the flu were reported which is the highest weekly number since reporting started in 2004. 2,160 New Yorkers are hospitalized. Cuomo is also proposing making his pharmicist flu shot executive order into a law.
