Pet Of The Week — ‘Delilah’
UPDATE: Delilah has been adopted!
Meet the Susquehanna SPCA “Pet of the Week” – her name is “Delilah”. Each week on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 am on Classic Hits 103.1fm, Leslie Ann hosts Allison Hungerford, licensed Vet Tech at the Susquehanna SPCA, who tells us all about a special dog or cat at the shelter looking for its forever home.
This week we are going to feature Delilah, a 5-year-old female cat who is searching for her forever home. Delilah is the sweetest, most lovable girl who was found as a stray. When she came into the shelter she was emaciated and covered in matted fur. Unfortunately because of this, SQSPCA staff members had to shave her to get rid of those mats giving her the funny haircut that she has today. Don't worry, it will grow back! Delilah does okay in the community cat rooms with other cats and very much enjoys lounging out on the catio.
In this photo below of Delilah, let's just say you can tell exactly what she's thinking..."TAKE ME HOME, somebody, PLEEEEEZE!" You can make her feel a whole lot better about looking like this by adopting her.
To meet Delilah or any of the other adoptable dogs and cats, give the SQSPCA a call at 607-547-8111 to schedule a time to visit for convenience, although walk-ins are welcome.
