Paris Hilton to Work With LMFAO, Snoop Dogg + Flo Rida on New Album

For a few years, Paris Hilton was at the forefront of pop culture, and no one really knew why (aside from that pesky sex tape, which also seemed to work well for her BFF-turned-frenemy Kim Kardashian).

She was lanky, rich and had no discernible talent. At her pinnacle, she released an album and an admittedly catchy but much-ignored single, ‘Stars Are Blind.’ Then she fell off the radar for a while.

For both of you who missed her? Congrats! She’s working on a new album with some pretty high-quality hip-hop collaborators, including LMFAO, Flo Rida and Snoop Dogg.

Hilton revealed to Ryan Seacrest that she has a new single called ‘After Midnight’ slated for a June 5 release, just in time for the carefree summer nights that she loves. From the sounds of it, her ambitions with her record are pretty lofty considering her limited abilities, but she’s got the budget and connections to enlist A-list help, like her party rocking BFFs. “I was just in the studio with Redfoo the other night, so we’re going to be doing my new single with LMFAO,” she said. That may explain why they were palling around so much recently. She also name dropped Flo and Snoop, but whether or not they know about the collabos remains to be seen.

As for the rest of her album? “I’m going with a whole new genre,” she boasted. “I have Afrojack executive-producing the entire album. So we’ve just been coming up with the most incredible tracks.”

One thing that, thankfully, won’t be included on the record? ‘Drunk Text.’ Since it’s hard to get much worse than that song, we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief.
