
Otsego County Woman Charged with Stealing $30,000 from Fire Department
On May 5th, troopers from State Police Richfield Springs arrested Lori L. Lamb, 42, of Hartwick on charges of larceny, forgery and falsifying business records.
Officials claim that Lamb stole money from the Schuyler Lake Fire Department located at 1490 County Route 23 in Schuyler Lake, while working as the fire department's treasurer.
Lamb was arraigned in the Town of Richfield Court and released without bail. A further investigation determined the sum stolen as $29,439.
The full charges are: one count of class C grand larceny 3rd degree, a felony; three counts of class D forgery 2nd degree, a felony; one count of class E falsifying business records 1st degree, also a felony.
