Opportunities for Chenango has been sending out a needs assessment survey to residents of Chenango County this week.

OFC is collecting data and voluntary feedback from residents during the month of May to ensure the agency is on track with the needs of the community.

Wayne Viera, OFC executive director, says the assessment is done on a regular basis to keep up with changing needs in the community.

"We are in the process of revisiting a strategic plan that guides the operations of our agency over a 3-5 year period," he said. "Our last plan ran from 2008-2013. Part of the strategic plan is getting community input into what the perceived needs are of Chenango County."

Survey forms are available at all OFC offices, Chenango County Social Services, and all Chenango County libraries. The survey is 39 simple questions you can complete in 8-10 minutes.
