The Oneonta Family YMCA has been hosting a wonderful fundraiser for many years: The Father Daughter Dance girls 3 to 13 and that special adult in their life.  This year, it will be held at SUNY Oneonta on February 9 and to help families offset the cost of girls' formal wear for the event, there will be a Formal Wear Exchange coming up at St. James Episcopal Church in Oneonta.

Here's how it works:
Formal wear donations are needed, with all donations being clean and in good condition.  Items needed include formal dresses or gowns for girls ages 3-13, dress shoes, shawls/ dress jackets, evening purses/clutches, evening gloves, and tiaras/ jewelry.  Any donations can be dropped off at St. James Church from January 11 through January 18.

To receive an outfit/ensemble: Girls must be registered for the Father Daughter Dance, then come to the Formal Wear Exchange Day on January 19 at St. James Church between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.  Each registered girl can receive one dress/ensemble.
