Oneonta Tailgate 5K Run-Walk is Sunday

This Sunday, October 13 at 11:00 a.m., it's the 4th Annual Tailgate 5K Run/Walk, starting and ending at the 6th Ward Athletic Club in Oneonta.  All proceeds from this event will benefit the 6th Ward Athletic Association Foundation, which directly supports youth athletics and organizations in the Oneonta community.

In addition to the 5k race, there will be a Kids Fun Run “100 Yard Dash” held prior to the 5k at 10:30 a.m.  Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite football team's gear to show their support while racing.  Following the 5k, there will be food, raffles and football viewing at a post-race tailgate party.  The top female and male finishers in 1st, 2nd and  3rd place will receive prizes at the awards ceremony, held at 12:30 p.m.

Packet pick-up available on race day, beginning at 9:30am at the 6th Ward Athletic Club. Parking is available in the parking lot on West Broadway, or at the Oneonta Boys and Girls Club on River Street.
