The Oneonta Chapter of Students Against Destructive Decisions is holding their annual 5k run/walk, “S.A.D.D. Strides For Safety” to raise money for its educational programs including after prom parties and speaking events for any local participating SADD chapters but it's going to be virtual this year due to coronavirus concerns.

Registration fees for this event have been reduced to $15. Registration opens on Friday, March 26. Once registered for the 5K run or walk, you can complete it anytime and on the route of your choice any time during the month of April.

Instead of the category awards, organizers will be handing out random awards. Go to saddstridesforsafety.itsyourrace.com to get more information and to register. Race organizers are asking runners and walkers who participate in this event to respect NY State COVID-19 guidelines and to post photos of their run or walk.
