Oneonta Man Arrested on Drug Charges

The City of Oneonta Police Department served a search warrant Friday afternoon at 381 Chestnut Street as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal drug activity.

Police arrested Daniel Pizzurro, 24, of Oneonta for criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police say during the search they found suboxone strips, hypodermic needles, scales and $105 cash.

Pizzurro was arraigned in the Town of Oneonta court and remanded to the Otsego County Correctional Facility on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
