Oneonta Board Discusses Water for Southside

The Oneonta Town Supervisor will meet with Otsego County's Industrial Development Agency today concerning a water district for Oneonta's southside.

Robert Wood is expected to request $90,000 in funding for the $8.8 million project.

Wood is also hoping that the Environmental Facilities Corporation and the United States Department of Agricultural Rural Development program will significantly help with the cost of the project with grants and loans.

Information about the proposed water district was discussed in detail last night at the town of Oneonta board meeting.
