The Otsego Committee on Child Abuse and Neglect (OCCAN) will host a reception on Thursday October 6, from 5:30-7:00PM at the Fenimore Art Museum, Community Gallery in Cooperstown.

The exhibit features artwork by area students, focused on what it means to be safe and happy.  The artists, age five through ten, will be present to talk about their work.  Photographs of OCCAN’s spring Pinwheels for Prevention campaign will also be on display.

Members of OCCAN will be available to answer questions about prevention and offer information and resources that families can turn to for support.

The event is free and open to the public. Live music will be provided by a local group.  Light refreshment will be served.  The exhibition will be on display from September 24 through October 23 during regular business hours.
