NYSEG Ready For Local Storms From Isaias

NYSEG officials say they are prepared for the possibility of power outages prompted by Tropical Storm Isaias. Over 1,100 workers are are ready to assist in power restoration efforts while the utility is coordinating its response with state and local emergency management teams. Customers are recommended to keep cell phones fully charges and have flashlights along with a battery operated radio handy in case the power does go out.
