NY State Troopers in Unadilla Holding Child Safety Seat Check

According to safekids.org, child safety seats that are properly used can reduce the risk of death by as much as 71 percent. Unfortunately, more than half of car seats are not used or installed correctly. That's why New York State Police Troop C will be hosting a Child Car Seat Check Event on Tuesday, February 18 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the New York State Police Troop C Headquarters, 823 State Route 7 in Unadilla.

An appointment is necessary since space is limited.  Please call the Traffic Division at (607) 561-7495.  Be sure to install the car seat prior to the check and if possible, bring the child with you.
