Norwich Gets Two New Ambulances
The City of Norwich has two new ambulances on the street thanks to state grants. 52nd District Senator Fred Akshar was on hand Wednesday with members of the city’s fire department to announce the city received around $290,000 from New York’s State and Municipal Facilities Program to buy the two ambulances which replace ones over 10 years old. The Norwich Fire Department covers the City and Town of Norwich and the towns of Plymouth, North Norwich and Preston.
