New York Lottery Games Top $9 Billion in Earnings

The State Gaming Commission reported Thursday that lottery games for the fiscal year ending March 31st took in $9.23 billion.

A profit of $3.17 billion will go to education, a 4.2% increase over fiscal year 2012-2013.

This is the 14th consecutive year of growth in revenue for the most profitable lottery system in North America.
