National Weather Service Warns of Dangerously Cold Conditions
The National Weather Service has issued a WIND CHILL WARNING from 5pm tonight (Wednesday) to 10am Thursday. Dangerously cold conditions.
Warnings are serious, be safe. Please make sure pets are inside or are provided with safe and adequate shelter. If you go outside, protect yourself. Extreme wind chills create dangerous conditions for exposed skin. Frostbite can set in about 15 minutes or less. The following posted by the National Weather Service:

OTSEGO AND DELAWARE COUNTIES. * HAZARDS...EXTREME COLD. * WIND CHILL READINGS...AS LOW AS 30 BELOW. * WINDS...NORTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH. * TEMPERATURES...OVERNIGHT LOWS ZERO TO 15 BELOW. * IMPACTS...THESE WIND CHILL VALUES WILL CREATE DANGEROUSLY COLD CONDITIONS FOR EXPOSED SKIN. A WIND CHILL WARNING IS ISSUED WHEN WINDS COMBINE WITH BITTERLY COLD TEMPERATURES TO CREATE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS CONDITIONS FOR EXPOSED SKIN. THE WIND CHILL WILL BE COLD ENOUGH TO CAUSE FROSTBITE IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES OR LESS...AND COULD LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PROPER PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
