Millennial Unemployment Rate Remains High

“Generation Opportunity,” a national non-partisan organization advocating for employment of 18-to-29-year-olds, has released its January millennial jobs report.

The report shows the youth unemployment rate for those 18-29 was 13.1 percent in January. Among African Americans the rate was 22.1 percent, Hispanics 13.0 percent and for women the unemployment rate was 11.6 percent.
