May 1 Update on COVID-19 Cases in Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego Counties

We continue to keep you updated on confirmed cases in our tri-county region of Central New York. As of yesterday afternoon, according to The New York State COVID-19 Tracker, the total number of cases rose to 98 in Chenango County. Delaware County Public Health is reporting 72 confirmed coronavirus cases and now in Otsego County there are 67 total COVID-19 cases, not all of which are Otsego County residents.

According to the NYS Department of Health, there are currently 304,372 cases of confirmed COVID-19 in the state with 4681 new cases confirmed statewide yesterday.

Please note that the number of confirmed cases does not reflect the actual number of cases because of limited testing for the virus.
