Laurens Central School Hosts 2nd Annual Coaches Vs. Cancer This Saturday [Audio]

This Saturday, January 18, 2014, the Laurens Central School Basketball Program and Athletic Booster Club will host their second annual Coaches vs. Cancer fundraising event.  One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society.

Entrance to the event is by donation and in addition to the games and concessions, their will also be other fundraisers, including a silent auction.  Laurens Central School Superintendent, Romona Wenck, shares more on the event and items you can bid on:

Last year, Laurens raised close to $2000 in donations to benefit the American Cancer Society.  Participating coaches, have helped to raise $87 million in the fight against cancer.
