Another day, another #humblebrag from Kanye West. This time, the talented rapper's claim involved a certain leader of the free world.

TMZ shared a video of Kanye being swarmed by a crew of paparazzi and we must say, the star looked as happy as we've ever seen him. He even nixed his trademark scowl in favor of a wide smile. Still, Kanye took this paparazzi encounter as a chance to clear up what he believes to be a rumor.

It all started when President Obama appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The president was confronted by the claim that Kanye has the liberty to "call Obama out of the blue." He also added, "Obama calls the home phone, by the way."

Obama's response? "I've met Kanye twice," POTUS said. "The first time was when I was a senator and he was with his mom and he's from Chicago. They wanted to meet. He was very soft spoken, very gracious. He was a young guy and hadn't quite come into his own. About six months ago he came to an event. Look, I love his music, he's incredibly creative. I don't think I've got his home number."

When questioned by the paparazzi about Obama's response, Kanye held his ground. "I love Obama," he said. "He called our house before. He knows that. Don't try to pit us against each other."

Whatever the case may be, we think Kanye should get the president — who has some musical chops — to collaborate on an upcoming song. Just throwing that out there.
