I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it's a sad day for dino-fans.

An official statement has come down the pipeline that the Jurassic World Live Tour stop that was supposed to take place at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence has been canceled.

The event was scheduled for August 28-30. Feld Entertainment, Inc posted the following on its Facebook page:

"Due to the increasing spread of COVID-19 and expanding restrictions on domestic and international travel, and in accordance with national, state and local governments prohibiting large group gatherings, the Jurassic World Live Tour scheduled August 28-30 at Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence has been canceled. Refund information is located at http://www.dunkindonutscenter.com/covid19_updates.

 

Ticketmaster will automatically process refunds for the cancelled event. The refund should appear on your account as soon as 30 days once your refund has been processed.

If you have not received your refund and communications within 45 days, please contact Ticketmaster Customer Service at 800.653.8000. If you purchased your tickets in person at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Box Office please call 401.331.0700 ext.7148 as the box office is currently closed for the safety of their staff and the public.

The Providence scheduled event is not the only arena canceling due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Other locations have followed suit to ensure the safety and health of all ticket holders comes first.

There is no discussion of where and when the tour will return as of now, but Fun 107 will be sure to keep you posted.
