New York Target Stores Recall Nearly 5 Million Threshold Candles
Target stores have raised the alarm and issued a recall of nearly five million of its Threshold home decor line of candles over serious laceration and burn injuries.
To date, Target has received 137 reports of Threshold glass candles breaking or cracking while in use. Worse, there have been six reported injuries of serious lacerations and severe burns, per the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, anyone in possession of the recalled candles should "immediately stop" using them and return the affected candles to any Target store for a full refund.
