The Cleanest Air in New York Found in an Unexpected Spot

When we think of all of the places in the entire state of New York where we can get away for a relaxing vacation, we generally think of heading someplace Upstate like to the Catskills or Adirondacks, but maybe we've been looking in the wrong area.
Conducted by air quality experts, a recent study analyzed air quality index values across New York to identify areas in the state with low levels of ozone and particle pollution, which are known to have negative impacts on health.
Of all of the places in New York that were studied, to everyone's surprise, Montauk was found to have the lowest levels of ozone and particle pollution in the entire state which might be one of the reasons that Montauk has seen an influx of vacationers given its (newly discovered) pure air and plethora of outdoor activities.
