Hallmark’s New Holiday Movie Is the Christmas Gift Every Buffalo Bills Fan Will Love
Only in New York could football and Hallmark magic come together this perfectly. Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story premieres Saturday, November 22, on the Hallmark Channel and it’s tailor made for New Yorkers who cheer for the Buffalo Bills and secretly (or not-so-secretly) love a cozy holiday movie. The film is part of Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas, and this year, it’s bringing Bills Mafia straight into the festive spotlight.
Love, Loyalty, and Bills Pride in Orchard Park
Set in the heart of Orchard Park, right in the shadow of Highmark Stadium, the story follows two families, the Quinns and the DeLucas, who have been neighbors and lifelong Bills fans for decades. Their holiday traditions always revolve around cheering on their team, especially during the last home game before Christmas. Pediatric doctor Morgan Quinn (played by Holland Roden) and the Bills’ VP of Stadium Development Gabe DeLuca (played by Matthew Daddario) have been best friends since childhood, but everyone around them can see there’s more than friendship brewing beneath the surface.

A Heartwarming Mystery Wrapped in Holiday Magic
When Morgan discovers that her Uncle Tommy once received help from an anonymous benefactor after being drafted over 60 years ago and that he still receives a Christmas gift from that mystery person every year, she sets out to uncover the truth. Her mission to find the person behind the decades long kindness leads to a heartwarming journey filled with family, football, and a touch of Christmas magic.
Real Buffalo Bills Bring the Holiday Story to Life
What makes this movie extra special for New Yorkers is that it’s packed with real Buffalo Bills stars. Head Coach Sean McDermott, Running Back Ray Davis, Safety Damar Hamlin, Offensive Tackle Dion Dawkins, Tight End Dawson Knox, Long Snapper Reid Ferguson, Defensive Tackle DeWayne Carter, and Wide Receiver Joshua Palmer all make appearances. Bills legends Jim Kelly, Steve Tasker, Thurman Thomas, Scott Norwood, and Andre Reed also join in, along with play by play announcer Chris Brown. It’s a full-on Bills family reunion, wrapped up in holiday cheer.
Familiar Faces Add Warmth and Holiday Charm
The movie stars Holland Roden, who many will recognize from Teen Wolf and Hallmark favorites like Time for Him to Come Home for Christmas, and Matthew Daddario, best known for his role in Shadowhunters. Both actors bring warmth and chemistry to the screen, making it easy to root for their characters while you’re wrapped in a blanket with a cup of cocoa in hand.

The Perfect Holiday Movie for Bills Fans and Hallmark Hearts
If you’re the kind of person who plans Sundays around the Bills game but also can’t resist a good Hallmark love story, this movie is everything you’ve been waiting for. It’s got hometown pride, football camaraderie, family traditions, and that heart-melting Hallmark magic that makes you believe in love, snow, and last-minute miracles. Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story is the feel-good film that proves New Yorkers can have the best of both worlds, football fever and Christmas romance.
