Once again this year, several local area nonprofit agencies are competing for the bragging rights of creating the best ice cream sundae based on real or imaginary animals at the Ross Park Zoo. That sounds fun.
According to officials at the Ross Park Zoo, the 2025 Sundae Safari 2025 will occur on July 12th (2025) from 5 to 8 p.m., and the public will get to taste and judge each nonprofit's ice cream creation.
Guests will walk the scenic wooded Ross Park Zoo campus after hours, viewing the animals. At each ice cream stop, participants will be able to meet representatives from each local non-profit agency, what they're about, and how they help our community while enjoying delicious ice cream.
Some of the local non-profits for this friendly ice cream competition include ACHIEVE, The Phelps Mansion Museum, Fairview Recovery Services, Roberson Museum & Science Center, Faith in Action, Southern Tier Independence Center, and Mothers & Babies Perinatal Network
The Ice Cream Safari sold out in 2024, so get your tickets soon! For more information and to purchase a ticket, contact the Ross Park Zoo.
