Meet the Susquehanna SPCA Pet of the Week – her name is Ruby. Every Thursday morning on WZOZ, Allison Hungerford, licensed Vet Tech at the Susquehanna SPCA, will tell us all about a special dog or cat at the shelter looking for its forever home.
This week we are going to feature Ruby, a 1-year-old mixed breed pup who is ready to find her family! Ruby is all puppy with a fun-loving attitude that is sure to make you smile! This sweet gal would be an excellent running or hiking companion! Ruby would adore the company of another high-energy dog to play with her. Allison noted to me that Ruby is a mixed breed with a high probability of cattle dog lineage. As herding dogs, they are full of energy and spunk, and are great for those that love the outdoors, or another high energy dog. They'll most likely wear each other out.
