Initial City of Oneonta Budget Proposal Shows $2M Deficit

It's early in the budget process, but the numbers right now show a $2 million deficit in the city of Oneonta's 2014 budget proposal.

The spending plan was discussed last night with the Common Council at City Hall.

These initial numbers are based on requests by city of Oneonta department heads. Next Tuesday, options to whittle down the projected deficit will be the main focus of a 5 p.m. workshop.
