Hobart Man Arrested For Assault

A Hobart man is arrested on charges resulting from an argument with a woman who had taken out a protection order against him.According to New York State Police,  William Caiati went to the victim’s home last Monday and as the argument escalated Caiati threw the victim onto a bed and attempted to choke her. Caiati was arraigned in the Town of Stamford Court and was remanded to the Delaware County Jail in lieu of a $2,000 cash bail.
