Another great Antique Engine Jamboree at Hanford Mills Museum in East Meredith this past Saturday.  I was on hand for the annual event as we broadcasted from the hardware store behind the Stoddard Hollow Band (in picture above).

The weather held off for the majority of the day as antique engine enthusiasts enjoyed the displays and demonstrations.  Kids got to learn about steam and wind power, there was a book sale, and cooking demonstration on the wood-fired cook stove.  A great place to visit to learn because it is a museum of the senses.  It is working all around you so you really get a sense of what the mill was like.
