This Saturday, February 1, 2014, step back in time at Hanford Mills Museum at the annual Ice Harvest Festival.  Walk out on the frozen mill pond and help cut blocks of ice and move them for storage all while using historic tools.  It kind of reminds me of the beginning to the movie Frozen.

A fun day for all ages from 10am-4pm.  The day's festivities include:

*Horse-drawn sleigh rides
*Hot soup buffet with soups from 19 favorite area restaurants
*Local farmers and vendors
*Ice Fishing by volunteers from the Dave Brandt Chapter of Trout Unlimited

*Films showing ice harvests in the 1930s
