Halsey Praises Taylor Swift, Covers ‘Lover’ During Surprise Concert
Halsey couldn't help herself from singing Taylor Swift's praises, literally!
The 25-year-old was the surprise guest at the We Can Survive concert on Saturday (October 19) night which was held at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl. The annual event benefits breast cancer research.
The "Without Me" singer took a moment in between her songs to share her love of the "Lover" singer's new album, who was also headlining the event.
"I've got to be honest with you guys, the whole new album is my shower music," Halsey told the excited audience. "It’s really insane. I think that my assistant has like 100 videos from outside the door where I’m in the shower just like 'You’re my, my, my lover,'" Halsey broke into song singing.
"It’s so good," she continued. "She’s definitely an artist I would love to collaborate with at some point.”
The lovefest doesn't end there, Swift gave her seal of approval of the singer's impromptu cover. "Halsey randomly started singing 'Lover' on stage tonight, ah I love her," a fan posted on Tumblr. Swift re-blogged the post and added, "me too," with her own personal emoji with a witch's hat and heart eyes.
