Cooperstown, NY– The oldest pitcher in Major League Baseball history to win a game, will be in Cooperstown Sept. 20.

Jamie Moyer, 50, will speak to physicians, advanced practice clinicians and other health care professionals attending a Shoulder and Elbow Symposium sponsored by the Bassett Shoulder and Sports Medicine Research Institute at Bassett Medical Center.

Moyer was the oldest player with the most wins, losses and strikeouts of any active pitcher in MLB. He will discuss career longevity and injury prevention in baseball.

The September 20-21 Shoulder and Elbow Symposium at the Otesaga Resort Hotel will bring practitioners together from across the country to discuss methods of treating elbow injuries, shoulder instability and shoulder throwing injuries, rotator cuff tears, clavicle fractures and more.
