Florida Man Knocked Out Cellmate’s Teeth Because He Kept Farting

A Florida man serving time in prison is now in even more trouble after badly beating his cellmate for reasons many of us can probably understand.

Officials say Christopher James Callen has been serving time in the Monroe County jail that's within the Florida Keys. He was there on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender, and had been in the jail since September.

Last Thursday, Callen reportedly attacked his 57-year-old cellmate, beating him so badly that two teeth were knocked out of his mouth, and one of his ribs were broken.

In a press release, Monroe County Sheriff's office said when asked for the reason behind Callen's violent outburst, he told deputies his cellmate “passes gas too often and doesn’t give any courtesy flushes when using the toilet."

The victim was taken to the Lower Keys Medical Center for treatment for his injuries.
