Fire Destroys Cooperstown Landmark

According to published reports, Cooperstown firefighters, assisted by Fly Creek and Hartwick firemen, fought a fire late Wednesday night at an outbuilding of Mohican Flower Shop at 207 Main Street. The fire was allegedly contained to the 100-year old greenhouse and did not spread to the building that houses the flower shop or other nearby occupied houses.

And no injuries have been reported.
