Fall, and leaf changing season has arrived! Upstate New York is ranked one of the best places to view the fall foliage. The beautiful colors of fall will soon hit their peaks and spread over hundreds of miles within the next weeks. Over this coming weekend in Otsego County, Cooperstown spotters expect 10 percent change of leaf color with shades of orange and yellow. There are plenty of ways to view the foliage, even if it is just taking a leisurely drive through the hills and mountains. If you are looking for a foliage experience, take a ride on the Fall Foliage Train in Cooperstown. The railroad rides along the Susquehanna River for a breath taking trip full of vibrant fall colors. This is also the perfect season for hayrides, apple and pumpkin picking, and fun-filled fall festivals. Be sure to get outside, with family and friends, and enjoy it before winter!
