Empire 8 Colleges to Decide on Winter Sports Schedule

The Empire 8 Presidents Council will make a decision regarding winter competition in the sports of men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s indoor track and field and men’s and women’s swimming and diving by October 1. Empire 8 regular season competition in the sports of men’s and women’s basketball is currently scheduled to begin on January 5, 2021, provided it is safe to do so at that time.

The health and wellness of our athletes and campus communities will continue to be a top priority as we evaluate winter sport options.
