Commerce Chenango Awards Lilly Farms $20,000 Grant

Commerce Chenango’s Development Chenango has awarded a $20,000 microenterprise grant to Lilly Farms in Smithville Flats. The new tack and feed store opened in September.

It carries a wide variety of feeds and nutritional supplements, a full line of pet care products, grooming products and toys. The grant will enable Jordon and Deb Lilly to purchase the equipment and inventory needed to run a full time business.

Lilly Farms is planning on adding a cider mill to the business next year complete with a hayride tour, activities and seasonal foods.
