Chenango County Woman Charged With Resisting Arrest

The Chenango County Sheriff's Office arrested a Town of Guilford woman Sunday following a domestic dispute in Guilford.

31-year-old Jessica Hartwell was charged with 2nd degree harassment and resisting arrest. During the course of the investigation , Hartwell is said to have thrown and hit a deputy with a foreign object, before proceeding to resist arrest.

She was arraigned in Town of Guilford court and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $8,000 cash bail.
